Local Repeaters

This page provides a list of repeaters that can be received and used within the London and Thames Valley area. Repeaters are designed primarily to help extend the coverage of Mobile and Portable stations. Although the majority of repeaters are voice only, there are a number of other repeaters for Data and Amateur Television. Full details of all our local repeaters can be found on the RMC website or on the list below. Repeaters operate on two separate frequencies, transmitting on one (The output) and receiving on another (The input). This is known as the repeater shift or offset. The shift is needed to ensure that the repeaters output does not interfere with the input signal by overloading, desensing or blocking.
